Greenplan Engineering Srl is an engineering company made up of professionals who have been working for years in their respective fields of expertise; in environmental issues in particular it represents the extension of the experience of the “Greenplan Engineering Studio Associato”, active for more than 20 years in the fields of environmental and landscape planning and analysis, of which it surely represents a landmark in the province of Treviso. We currently operate throughout central-northern Italy.

Greenplan follows all the procedure for obtaining, in accordance with current legislation, all the authorizations for the construction and operation of Renewable-energy power plants, in particular of:

  • agrivoltaic systems
  • solar farms
  • wind farms

developing all the necessary project documents and dealing with all the stakeholders involved.

Greenplan deals with the design and process for obtaining, in accordance with current legislation, the necessary authorizations (SINGLE AUTHORIZATION or PAUR) for the construction and operation of electricity production plants powered by renewable sources (RES), taking care of relations with the bodies and interested parties.

Greenplan has a many years experience in the development of linear infrastructure projects, including the management of their landscape and environmental integration.

ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

Greenplan was among the first consulting companies to deal with the concepts related to Environmental Sustainability, particularly through the development of the “Environmental Compatibility Assessments” and the “Sustainability Checks for land transformation projects”.
Nowadays that this issue has acquired an increasing importance, it evaluates the environmental sustainability of plans, projects and existing manufacturing facilities, analyzing their effects on the Main Environmental Matrices and planning the most suitable measures for their mitigation through, among others, the following tools:

Ecological Engineering

Application of naturalistic engineering techniques for the reinforcement of a mountain slope

Viewshed analysis

The evaluation of the visibility of a work is carried out by means of a procedure (viewshed analysis) which uses algorithms in a GIS environment, using a DEM (Digital Elevation Model) of the enlarged territory and imposing a view height of 1.6 m (height average of the eyes of an adult man). Purely on a morphological basis, we then evaluate what the observer's eye sees (or rather can see) from a given position (A).

Land use assessment

The land use analysis, on an orthophotographic basis, is a key step in environmental and landscape assessments, allowing the discretization and qualification of the territory, on which indexes and evaluation indicators are then applied.

Preservation of landscape profiles

In the hills it is extremely important to protect the integrity of the ridge as a "landscape profile", an element that stands out against the sky or on another background, a recognizable sign that typifies places. The analysis of the morphology is carried out using a digital terrain model (DEM), developed to derive the shadows (hillshade) and favor the identification of the ridges. On the ridges, a band of respect is subsequently affixed to identify the area considered to be subject to protection.

Distribution of faunal species

The distribution of the fauna species is quantified on the basis of a 1 km network. For each link of the same, the species indicated are counted based on the distribution data reported in various publications. The discretization of the summations of presence in numerical classes allows defining the wealth of species in the territory.

Landscape fragmentation

Tra le analisi in campo paesaggistico la valutazione dell'integrità della matrice può essere svolta mediante l'analisi del ruolo di frammentazione che svolgono gli insediamenti, applicando alle classi d'uso relative all'edificato e alle strade dei buffer che tengono conto del "disturbo" che la trasformazione fisica comporta sullo spazio immediatamente circostante.

Renewable energy

For the construction and operation of electricity production plants powered by renewable sources (RES) a Single Authorization (AU) is envisaged, whose definition and process of obtaining it through the Services Conference are defined in Legislative Decree 387/2003 and subsequent amendments.
